Government can't create jobs, but it can kill them. If we keep the government from over-reaching then opportunity will quickly return to Arizona because what made us a thriving state is still in place.
I support the President's efforts to re-energize our economy and our great nation! We need his leadership to address security and trade issues, and to fight corruption in the swamp in Washington D.C.
Healthcare decisions should be made by patients and their doctors, not by disinterested bureaucracies. Government run health care leads to poor care and high costs, so we need to return to a free-market system that controls costs, provides innovative care and rapidly adapts to emergency healthcare needs such as COVID-19.
Nothing is more important than securing the future through the education of our children. As such, education is rightfully the largest and most important part of the state budget. But before we spend more on education, we must first institute appropriate reforms that enable public schools to better fulfill their vital role in securing Arizona's future.
We owe a debt of gratitude to our veterans for their unwavering service to our country. I support programs that improve veteran healthcare services, reduce suicide and homeless rates, and provide career and vocational education opportunities for Arizona's veterans.
There is little the Legislature can do to deal with the threat of illegal immigration, but we can stop Arizona cities from offering sanctuary. I also oppose amnesty and the use of taxes paid by Arizonans for anything that doesn't benefit Arizona citizens.
Representatives to the Legislature pledge to uphold and defend our Constitution. While too many of them fail to live up to their pledges, I will keep mine. This especially includes your God-given Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms and ammunition.
I support the sanctity of life and the family because they are the foundations of a great nation. I will always fight for legislation that respects life and strengthens our families.
